Helen has over 20 years of experience in human and animal physiotherapy, with special interests in orthopaedic and neurological physio. Since 2019, Helen has focused her career on canine rehabilitation. She loves the challenges that complex patients offer and employs a multi-disciplinary team approach.

Helen has witnessed first-hand how much can be done to help dogs optimise their recovery following surgery or after injury. The evidence in this area of canine physiotherapy is growing rapidly worldwide and she is excited to be involved in the transition into advancing canine physiotherapy.

Helen thoroughly enjoyed gaining her additional qualifications in this specialist area of animal rehabilitation, which allowed her to focus on two of her greatest loves; dogs and travel.

Helen has lovingly fostered at least 30 puppies and adult dogs via the SPCA, Ellies and Blind Low Vision NZ. In her spare time, Helen loves swimming, reading and catching up with friends. She also enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her hubby Stu, two teenagers and two adored Golden Retriever and Lab crosses—Marley and Jess.
